Crafted with Soul

At Tatsu Ramen, we believe that a great bowl of ramen starts with patience. Our broths are slow-cooked for hours using whole bones and vegetables — never from concentrate, never from powder.

We source premium ingredients and craft every component in-house, from our signature Tatsu Egg to our handmade noodles. Each bowl is fully customizable, so you can build your perfect ramen exactly the way you like it.

Born in Los Angeles on Sawtelle Blvd, Tatsu Ramen now serves four neighborhoods — Melrose, Sawtelle, Pasadena, and the Arts District in DTLA. Late-night hours, bold flavors, and bowls made with heart — that is what we are all about.

The Bold Ramen is absolutely delicious with a rich broth and charred chicken. The 11-ingredient blend is flavorful and the shoyu egg was cooked to perfection. This is hands down my favorite ramen spot on Melrose.

The Hippie Ramen with its rich vegan broth and fresh toppings complemented by the miso egg is incredible. This is my personal favorite among all the ramen spots on Sawtelle.

The late-night hours are a lifesaver on the Westside. Came in at midnight and the ramen was just as perfect as during peak hours. The pork chashu is simmered to perfection with the right amount of salt and umami.

That samurai wall mural with the LED lighting is worth the visit alone. But the real star is the soul tonkotsu ramen, very rich and hearty. You can taste those 18 hours of slow cooking in every spoonful.

Open late in the Arts District is a game changer. We came after a gallery opening and had the best Cheeky Ramen of our lives. The curly noodles with that creamy chicken broth is pure heaven.

Tatsu Ramen Arts District DTLA

Yelp

The DTLA location has the best interior of any Tatsu with the wood slat wall, halo ring lights, and that incredible mural. The Red Ramen packs serious heat and the staff was helpful and friendly.
